They are not exactly starting all over again with Ceto 6 but there are significant differences to Ceto 5. They face a new set of challenges that need to be overcome before they are ready to tackle the Great Southern Ocean.
We should not expect wave energy to progress at the same rate as solar power and battery storage, that technology is years ahead.
I have put wave energy at the back of my mind for now. I am happy for solar to hog the limelight while wave keeps working away in the background. When they're ready, they will get their opportunity to grab centre stage.
