Sorry to digress from GDN, just to answer iceman:

As far as GPN go.... the limit for what they have or are likely to find would put them at about 7c. They however are cash poor and already have 1.2 billion shares fully diluted.

For mine MTN not only gives an almost certain 3-bagger over 6-12 months, but is a MUCH safer bet (ie much less likely to go under) and have a far better PROVEN resource, not heresay and empty ramping (look back six months - "Peak Hill" results and others have been out "any day" for quite some time.

If you want more leverage and more risk (more than MTN that is, MUCH less risk than GPN) look at SIM - massive tracts in elephant country all around AGS, MTN and Beverley and strong ariel survey suggesting at least one area is a continuation of the massive Beverly/AGS deposits. SIM is a near certain 1-2 bagger and a possible 10 bagger over twelve months and are drilling now.

If you want a "penny dreadful" that isn't really dreadful at all look at PEN - Probably the most impessive tenements of any U spec overall in multiple countries. Although they will have about a billion shares once they acquire PMHs fantastic U deposits and have a very attractive in-spec (which you can still buy to get onto) they have at least 10 times the potential uranium of GPN/YRR with better grades and pro-U mining local authorities/ state/national govts for many (including USA from PMH soon and Sth Africa already). They could easily split into 3 companies with all the U they have and each would justify the current market cap for the whole company. Likely 20-30c within 6-12 months (now 10c).

Just research GPN very carefully before buying, and if you do buy, buy into compelling TA and sell early when the TA signals say sell - you will not be buying on fundamentals as on fundamentals GPN this is already overpriced.

As far as GDN go - background gas is of unknown significance - It isn't easy to get a perfect seal on the 6000 foot of casings covering the gas zones between 9000 and 15000 foot and under high pressure small leaks this could account for this (though I'm not sure if this BG gas is new since re-starting drilling). Background gas is often there even in non-commercial holes. If the BG gas was 2000 units it would be a different matter.

IMO I agree with t4p that there is likely lots of gas down there as a source for gas above, and we already know there is lots of gas in pinkerton trail which is also below the thick salt cap. The impressive stats from nearby wells that have gone as far a leadville speak for themselves! As for oil - It cannot FORM below about 10000-12000 foot as vegetation products break down straight to short-chain hydrocarbons (gasses) at these pressures and temperatures, however, it could have formed before it was so deep, and oil has been found up to 20000 foot on deep sea wells, so it is a possibility.

I think (hope) we are on for a very profitable few weeks! Bring on tomorrow and hopefully the first news from Leadville. All the best to holders.
