    Great work portsmouth.

    Could I add another?

    5) Resapp will allow the remote diagnosis of respiratory disease through telehealth platforms - a completely revolutionary concept.

I've attached some tweets from Resapp's feed this morning that go some way to highlighting the compelling benefits that telehealth should deliver:

Some brief notes from the article (with weight given to the benefits of telehealth and the synergies between RAP and UPMC):

"the app is available to more than 3 million members but is available to anyone in the State of Pensilvania (approx. 13 million residents) - cost $10 to $49 her visit (depending on level of coverage)
"the app is intended non-emergency ailments... such as sore throats and respiratory illness"
"users can expect to wait a little over 6 minutes, on average to see a clinician."

"prescriptions can be sent directly to the patient's pharmacy... saving the patient even more time."
"the service will relieve considerable amount of strain on patients, clinicians and emergency rooms
""The platform allows patients to use technology to be seen by doctors more quickly... it helps to free the backlog in doctor's offices, urgent care facilities, and hospital emergency rooms and allows doctors to spend more time with patients who suffer from chronic conditions. Nearly 90 percent of patient issues are resolved during the virtual visit and do not require follow-up care."

    And also this: 2.png
"Two thirds of consumers would see a doctor over video—a practice that could cut down dramatically on the amount of time it takes to get care. Consider that the average in-office visit takes 121 minutes, including 101 minutes of commute and waiting room time—only 20 minutes with the doctor.
In the meantime, a medical office in Las Vegas clocked video visits at 5 minutes of wait time and 8-10 minutes seeing the doctor. Video visits are more convenient and sometimes even require a lower co-pay than an in-person appointment."

    And finally this:

    Cleveland Clinic Express Care anyone?

"For those concerned that video visits aren’t as useful as face-to-face time, Modahl reiterates that telehealth is face-to-face medicine. “This is where technology has made a breakthrough in just the last several years,” she says. “Today, it’s possible for consumers to see their doctor over video from home and work on mobile devices where video and audio work really well. This has only happened in the last five years as the technology has become available.”

One day soon I'm looking forward to seeing Resapp's technology featuring prominently in each of these articles. I doubt that once the clinical study results prove accuracy anyone would argue that this would not be the case. It is truly a compelling innovation.

    Cheers
