THD: One thing I don't get about it is why Facebook etc would allow Thred to replace it. It's almost like theft - we'll supplant your interface with ours, but still communicate back to yours when we need to. What happens if people stop visiting Facebook etc.? Of course, there are precedents for this model. Email aggregators already exist. So maybe Thred will be okay.
