The 5797sq m residential allotment at
32 Old Calder Highway sold for $1.5 million early this month after a week on the market. The sale marked a $700,000 jump in a little more than 12 months, about $1486 a day, after the owner bought the block for $800,000 in November, 2015.
By contrast, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull takes home about $1430 a day, or $522,000 a year.
