FGR on the verge of becoming a Producer of a strategically scarce and unique resource, page-9

Hi Spid81, (disclaimer : i am a long term supporter and shareholder in Elcora), I am curious to what type/quality of graphene FGR is planning to produce (te 7-8 tonnes). Elcora claims to be producing the highest quality of graphene in the world (>50% one layer graphene). So I am not sure if it is comparable to FGR product.

As for graphite production, Elcora was already producing in ragedara some 1-2 tonnes per day of graphite (some 300 - 500 tonnes per year) and they are trying to increase production. Their 2017 target onward is 4700+ tonnes per year. Two main challenges :
1- finding enough veins (through drilling exploration)
2- accessing the veins (though the building of tunnels)

Elcora also has a 2500tonnes processing plant capable of producing a 96% - 99% graphite product. the goal is to expand the processsing plant to 5000tonnes per year. IMO Elcora will become soon (2017-2018) the number one producer exporter of graphite from sri-lanka.

I know it is unfair to compare Elcora to FGR (different stages, different strategies / scopes, Elcora already in production/sales with an off-take with thyssenkrupp and expanding production + Elcora will enter soon the spherical graphite business with new supplies outside of sri lanka, whereas FGR is in development stage and focusing mainly on sri-lanka). But nevertheless, I am curious to learn of FGR capabilities/plans. It is competition for Elcora in sri-lanka, and competition is always a good thing to have.
