Interesting observation, whilst Australian exporters have been struggling finding trusted wholesale dealers and larger so called daigou in China to support its online export strategies, SMA has been adding new clients/brands + adding possibilities of highly-respected Australian brands via its e-vantage agreement.
Consider SMA's trusted dealerships and the possibilities of current clients of e-vantage, brands/clients such as BONDS, NINE WEST, GUESS, TOMS, JOHNSON & JOHNSON . And of course SMA is doing much more than just working with Dodoca and it WeChat platform integration.
Hint Hint - I am still liaising with various Australian Exporters, it seems many exporters are pursuing new channel strategies, as more stable arrangement with trusted wholesale dealers is needed in order to get a reliable direct channel in to China, also backed up by Reuters recent news.
Sure seems SMA is well positioned to take advantage of recent development in China - 2017/2018 is a game changer.
Expect more news..
