The problem as I see it, is that yes, Goblin can be a laugh, and yes he is harmless enough, but the problem exists when he and his other persona moneymachine, begins on a thread and CONTINUALLY posts rubbish, like for example, on the OXR, PDN and Gold threads.
This type of behavoiur, apart from being childish and unnecessary, strips threads of ANY worth, and many posters who wish to discuss these stocks are inclined to avoid the thread altogether....imagine if you will each of you, if a poster was to begin to rant and carry on, with no attaching reasoning I might add, on the thread of your single largest holding or favourite stock.....do you think it possible to conduct a meaningful and constructive conversation with input from ALL who would have something to offer....I would think not.
I don't have an issue with Gobs per se.....but he's very much the reason why many wouldn't bother with the threads of stocks he continually attacks, and why a normal conversation CAN'T be conducted on them....and that is not fair to many posters.
