I don't think it will matter if he wins a second term. His time is now and he's puts in place the mechanics and contracts now. By the time the next USA election takes place in 2020, all the infrastructure and planning will have been signed off or already commenced.
Not a trump supporter but he's started repair and replacement of USA constructions that will bring prosperity and employment to them. Kudos from me.
The pipeline approval is just one step forward but it's a big step.
