You aren't an idiot at all, I think 50 percent profit taking is fine, especially after today's action, I had a sell signal earlier (36) shooting star had formed.....now it has formed a rather ugly candle pattern :/ I would be cautious buying at the moment if I was in it for a ST trade as this could head lower...
