If you were so concerned with the plight of the less fortunate in Africa you would do more than just remind us all how bad it is over there with a picture. Maybe you sponsor a child? I'm sure this will break the cycle. Just what is it you do to make a difference Apprentice? Enlighten me!"


An Ignorant comment....but I'll entertain it anyway.

I know a priest in Tanzania who runs a mission there....to him directly, I send many thousands every year, and whilst I am not going to divulge figures here, it is a significant amount.....which I might add, I do not claim as a tax deduction, as I do not give to receive, other than the own satisfaction I get out of helping children who are very much less fortunate than we here. I do very well....I have no family and neither do I want one, so money is very much a non-issue for me, and giving it away poses no problem.

The satisfaction I have enjoyed after opening a letter than the priest has sent me from time to time, telling me of their progress and what has been done to improve the life of the children, looking through a handful of enclosed photos of the children, some smiling, is overwhelming.

And maybe, just maybe, the photo on the bottom of my posts, just might motivate others to do something as well to help....whatever that might be....something is better than nothing at all.

Even if I reach just one person, I would consider it worthwhile, as that may very well help one other person who really needs it....even at the the expense to myself of being bombarded by ignorant and stupid questions such as yours.

I seek to help others with the inset on the bottom of my posts....you seek to help yourself with the advertising you have on yours.
