Apprentice two points:
1. Or more a question for you to ponder on and I take my hat off to your intentions. What has aid achieved if the nation becomes dependent on aid and then this resource one day disappears? I can see foreign aid drying up when the equities party ends and will end one day. The world's central banks cannot continue to print money at the rates they currently are without a major 'incident' in the future. This is now happening with food aid. Because grain stocks globally are so low and ethanol demand is hotting up, food aid donations are disappearing all over the world leaving agricultural systems in the donation accepting countries destroyed by dumped free grain and no farmers with the knowledge or resources to now begin production in earnest again.
2. Just so you don't think I am a cold hearted b###ard. I have pioneered the development of the sandalwood nut industry in this nation and it is the world's first fertilizer free and drought tolerant crop that can produce an edible oilseed. www.australianuts.com In the future I will be seeking to export this system to developing nations because the ultimate solution to their dilemna is self sufficiency in food before any basis of a stable society can form. Most of these guys can't afford fertilizers and perennial crops are the most ebenficial since they stop degradation of the land and provide fuel as well as food.
