EmDe the other big reason for the USA push is the penetration game. There has been a barrier to using Quick Books for SME's. Xero bring such intuitive user friendliness that they push in the cash book ma and pa type businesses as they simply make all the processes so much easier and the software is so easy to use.
Seem to be surrounded by examples of this around me personally even my mechanic one man band has moved to xero and all invoices beat me home from the garage, are paperless and he gets paid earlier by internet banking.
The size of the market available to penetrate is rather massive in the USA and first in first served.
