- Yes I would, as long as it is cheaper than buying power from the state utility. I was having this exact chat with a mate tonight. The deal would be that you can purchase Carnegie energy at a lower price than the state utility until the renewable energy has been depleted. The energy could only be delivered to your house via the grid so the utility will have an impact and most likely a mark up on the renewable energy supplied to you. It would still be cheaper to be in the scheme than not. Our company will be the renewable energy supplier downstream
