I've seen no shortage of parabolic rises, huge moves that always end the same way - a massive retracement that traps a bunch of holders who bought near the high or on the way up. In turn that then makes it hard for the stock to move up in the future as there's so much sell pressure from above levels as these holders exit at break even or soft losses killing momentum. I'll take what I've seen from AGY so far, nice orderly moves up, modest retrace before the next push as this way we're less likely encounter some huge sell off. For sure parabolic moves are exciting but they rarely go far enough before reality sets back in and the damage is done.
