    EG: buy $50,000 worth of shares in ABC

    SP goes up and 4 weeks later the parcel is worth $75,000

    Only sell the $50k u invested therefore you have not recored a capital gain, only the initial investment.

    Leave the $25,000 profit in the share and ride it for ever hoping it makes u a nice earn with a long term view
