This is hiding the poor management of Sean Ebert - he has been unable to enroll his investee companies in his failed sales vision, the investee companies are telling him to let them manage their own business as they (rightly) have no confidence in his ability to add value.
So rather than address the problem - poor management in BPAM (Ebert) they throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Its a shame both assets (potential assets - un-exercised Con Note) were sold without shareholders seeing any capital gains.
