@V* Bulkowski says the stats are better on bearish engulfing candles are more reliable, and I'd probably agree with him (it is hard to argue with his stats) but just from observation my impression they tend to be better, however I think where I could argue bullish engulfing candles do well is when they are also accompanied by good volume, which we had today. Anyway, the proof is always in the follow-up confirmation...
