I didn't see the show last night but I can imagine it was full of scare mongering.
I can't see the world getting to the point were economies collapse ect because of OIL depletion.
As the price goes up OIL companies have more money to invest in exploration.Another thing to remember is higher OIL price means fields once non viable will be viable.
But the big one that seems to hover under the radar is the OIL sands of Canada.They estimate there is 2.6 trillion barrels of oil there as opposed to the middle east with 900 billion.
With new technology at $12USD a barrel these fields will get developed and if you think its poor quality OIL think again.Its premium quality OIL!
