    Hi Whisky

Thank you for your response mate I really appreciate it.

I guess the number one thing that is really bugging me is that we only have approximately 100mmbls of oil to our name. I am using a $4.50 profit figure at the moment, so after capital and operational expenses we might make $4.50 per barrel (once again - please correct me if this figure is complete rubbish - I am just going on previous posts).

    We have 100mmbls x $4.50 = $450 million. We have 5500 million shares.

5500 (shares) divided by 450 (dollars) equals 12.2 (round down to 12). That means we would need 12 SNE fields to reach $1 per share or in other words we would need 1.2bbls of oil to reach $1 per share.

What are your thoughts on this? are my maths even close? - a previous poster mentioned an NVP of approximately $8.50 AUD. If that is accurate then:

$8.50 x 100mmbls = $850 million dollars. divide that by 5500 million shares = 6.5 - so we would need 6.5x times the current oil in SNE to hit $1 per share. Or alternatively 650 mmbls

Does that sound right to you ?

    ele.
