Remember this is a Spec stock. There are good chances that there is lithium (which is why we are all here) but there is also a chance that there may be none or what is there may not be commercially viable. If you were to take that mentality then you would suffer an even bigger loss in a bad scenario and in a good scenario then you would eat into your profits.

Harles and others are getting the best price they can. There is no immediate hurry as we still have until the 17th or a bit before we are likely to see a move from current levels. Good on them for their patience.
