Half million $ salary?

Is this normal for a pre-clinical company? It just seems like a bit much for a brand new company, especially one that just had to raise an extra 6 million dollars. If they need money so bad, why such a high salary? This isn't even including stocks/options. Seems like a lot of money for a company that's just talking about starting trials in the future, and making business deals with themselves (Cdrmed/Caziwell) and brand new companies (Cannpal)

I'm no expert, I'm just thinking this is a lot of money to represent work finished by June, when it seems like the only work they've done is talking about the future and fundraising for the future.

On an unrelated note, it seems like most of the posts here aren't genuine investors but instead paid pumpers rephrasing the same hopeful generalizations over and over, with screenshots of old investor presentations.

Fully diluted I think the market cap sits somewhere around $70 mil. There are companies that are already in phase II at that same market cap--Tetra Bio Pharma for example. Kalytera another, market cap is around 45m.

I'm getting out of this stock for now until it drops significantly or actually starts phase II trials. Too much risk for my liking. I would love to hear from other people about what I've written, like I said, I'm no expert at all, and I realize starting a business is hard work so maybe the high salary is justified and normal.
