No need to apologize. It is trading and we trade to make money. Yes the stock market can certainly feel immoral at times.
For example, when cyclone Debbie hit QLD, I felt sorry for all the people there and hoped they would be ok. But the first thing I did was put in a short trade on IAG (Australian Insurance Group). Within a few days I closed it out after the sp dropped 20c.
Immoral? possibly, but that is trading.
