CAMERON ENGLAND

CENTREX Metals has had encouraging drilling results from its Bungalow iron ore project on eastern Eyre Peninsula.
Adelaide-based Centrex said yesterday it had drilled four holes into the Bungalow prospect and encountered magnetite mineralisation in three. "Bungalow has the potential to support a long-life three to five million tonnes per annum magnetite concentrate operation and the recent drilling heralds the commencement of a systematic resource evaluation of the deposit.
"The true width of the magnetite zone is about 80m and open at depth, extending beneath the tertiary cover from 70m to 200m-plus," the company said in a statement.
Centrex is currently developing its Wilgerup iron ore deposit in the centre of Eyre Peninsula. It released a resource of 9.1 million tonnes of ore. Shares were up 0.5c to 17c yesterday.
