Well said and thanks for sharing. I have been there and due to work commitments am the latter in your statement "Either way I was trading too fast for STT and too slow for DT if that makes sense.". I have moved to FA+TA with a trading window of few days to weeks. I have lost much trying to DT every trade but you lose more than you gain. Everone has a different style/strategy and until you find your rhythm, trade small parcels to get into it. Now I dont use T+1 but due to a stable platform Commsec provides (IRESS), I stick to my guns and only trade with the cash in hand. DT only works with me if stock goes up about 20% in a day and I sell depending on the Momentum indicator on the charts.
