Thank you Sir for that useful reply. If it is as you say a "case by case assessment where general rules and arbitrarily designated time periods are of little assistance" then am I the only investor that wishes these rules didn't exist at all? As surely they would spook any director into directly supporting a company in which he/she is involved in? What a shamoozle the ASX really is?! That being the case, why then (as I alluded to in a previous post) wouldn't a BOD take things into their own hands and make shares be a regular compulsory (and therefore unassociated) automatic part of a salary package? In essence take the arbitrary and "guess work" completely out of the equation? Sometimes I wonder why I ever directly invest at all. Cheers all. Happy Easter. Good luck with it and Go Admedus.
