What is interesting with today's announcement is that on face glance it was quite good. I don't know if this is new or regurgitated contents but the market reaction speaks volume. There is something the wider market does not know and I am always suspicious between the divergence from good news. I can only think superficially it is something with finance that has hurdles or issues with the ML.

Clearly the market is always correct even though some dogma views don't want to accept. My stops would have been hit anyway even if I did nothing this morning and I sort of worked out that it is a matter of time they would target that swing low. In fact the news was out early especially from putting it out in the West (2hr behind) so this seems to indicate management is very concerned from the way the selloff was destroying the sentiment even if they do not look at charts. This news should have been out on Thursday to give it a much better fighting chance but I guess management is doing its best.

I hate to say this but I don't think this is the time to be averaging down continually. There is a world of pain for bulls from 40-60C congested range and it will be selling pressures whenever price attempts a reversal. That is how I am interpreting from the chart technicals but like always, the market will do whatever and we can only try to anticipate rationally and try to stack the odds in our favor.

The second thing is to compare against its peers as others have observed and this is PLS specifics. In the absence of key reason I have to suspect the usual financ/ML. On the technicals if 33.5 do not hold today then there will be further slide potential in the price level going forth.
