More,I see a hormone doctor for an underactive thyroid who is very highly regarded.Written a book called the human code.Anyway he only prescribes compounded medication and never synthetic.He says there like chalk and cheese.He says the side effects are horrible and detremental to your health.Dont know if that helps you or not,but hope it does.
