EVERY cycle should be registered, with an easily visible # plates, front and rear.
time for motor bikes to have front # plates too. I did on mine, in NSW
Make it cheap, but compulsory, no matter what their age is.
Heavy fines for not having them visible, more for deliberately obscuring them.
Not wearing helmets, using mobile phones, whilst riding, also need strict policing.
I don't mind if they make it 2 metres, so long as cyclists obey whatever the
rules are as well.
Dash cam WILL save your backside if somebody "falsely" accuses the motorist
of an incident/offence.
Mine has two cameras, forward and rear facing, and will "see" any
activity at either the passengers or drivers side window, rear facing camera,
as well as a very wide field of view, forward.
