Its not hard for brokers to find summary postions for buys and sells of firms through systems like Iress, and as i stated days ago, there is abit of selling coming out of Bells.
What gets up my goat is the ticking down done today, dumping 30,000 shares, with the last 2000 ticking the price down, the same thing happening over and over.
It seems someone has a personal beef with HNR now, because there was heaps and heaps of buying at much higher levels and good support, and now its being sold down savagely.
Its blatant dumping of the stock, and its not hard to track down exactly where things are coming from.
If you had a few shares, and were intent on selling, you could always call the company to try to get some help finding them a new home, or else you could smash a stock down from $1 to 60 cents for fun.
The ASX needs to look into this type of thing, its basically the same as filling the screen with prop bids and other types of manipulative trading they have come down hard on.
