You asked a question: how do I know they are in for the long haul? Of course I don't know for fact, but I might as well deduce that as fact because no one could accumulate and then offload such a sizeable holding in such a short term and actually make money on it.
Their average accumulation price would have to be in the 30's, and the moment they start selling a significant amount of shares they will have to start releasing 'Change in substantial holdings' notices. That will drive the price down and they will make a loss.
Even if they started doing it at 70cents, interim notices to the market will drive their avg sell price down real quick, along with the share price. They need a long run to get their money back... or a take over.
