Yes you are right with spreads

The low market volume here doesn't help

Also the market makers have declined over the years making competition worse

The best spreads will be on XJO, TLS, BHP. Sometimes the strike price with the tightest spread may not be one you would go for

TLS was brilliant this week, the 4.30 calls did 200% in 2 days, but generally TLS doesn't move enough

I was a dealer years ago. Haven't done ETOs for a few years now for above reasons but recently started with above stocks.

I agree the made markets are almost like they don't want the biz
