Please correct me if I am wrong but according to the key points, (taken from a previous interview with James Mac Donald Chief Investment Officer at Hunter Hall) these trials should not materially effect the long term outlook for the company or it's SP growth in the future. Obviously, more positive news is always better as perceived negative news will be exploited by the shorters.
Key Points
1/ If they are ALL unsuccessful and even if there is NO good news the sales will NOT fall too much."
2/ "These are not regulatory trials as the product is approved and selling, the radioactive beads to treat liver cancer and is approved and selling around the world."
3/ "This is really Marketing Data that the company can use to mine the data and find sub groups that have responded well and then go to the liver cancer specialists and sell the stuff much more effectively."
