Yes, I worry about that also and it seems likely that the patients must have had more advanced disease ot distant mets before SIRT was tried, so SIRT was essentially being used as a "salvage" treatment.

It should be the case, but see the John Buscumbe editorial for use of SIRT in mCRC. Admittedly the figure is for combination Chemo and SIRT but they had a 79% liver met response rate and resection rates approaching 28%. Pierce Chow is using SIRT to downstage his patients because its much more reliable than TACE. It will be interesting to hear his comments on SARAH. There are going to be a lot of people wanting to know the details and comparing notes. I doubt that what we get on Monday will have much more detail in terms of why the response rate was so low and OS survival so poor. That analysis will take some time, it might not be available until the APPLE conference in July.
