Agree with your points. However, my point was to note that just because a bank does loan money it is not necessarily a reliable indicator of confidence.

And I do not think SGH could hoodwink a bank out of $750m (just my view). They, like you note, "... are able to undertake a more comprehensive risk assessment than your average family retail investor." Nonetheless, they do make poor commercial decisions from time to time.

Again, the comparison I made was to simply highlight that a bank loan (in and of itself) is not a sign of confidence. Equally, neither is a stack of cash from a private investor.
