Don't get me wrong; I would loooove to see all transportation being electric but I know people will adapt (adopt it) very slowly.
However, just to share some info:
First time when I figured out EV is not just on roads was when I was searching for the highest Power-to-Wieght ratio for electric motors few years back; looking at Yasa motors with the impressive 5kW/kg and I found EMRAX with the recent 10kW/kg. This is not a joke, you can have a 7kg motor with a peak power of 70kW, or a 40kg one with 300kW peak    . I would like two of them on the rear wheels on my old Audi  .
They took a full size glider, put a motor on it and created Apis EA2:
