I am saying that it is not a new discovery. The area of the higher grade laterite has been trenched, by the looks of the photo in the announcement and the details given in the JORC Table 1. Given it has been trenched and most likely drilled before, if the area was such a great area why did AVQ not drill it, instead of the other area they drilled on San Jorge which came up with around 1% Ni? I am sure AVQ would have all the INCO data so they would have used it to guide their initial drilling and thus you can only assume they would have drilled the best area as shown by the historical INCO drilling. This suggests to me that this "new" discovery might have reasonable grade at surface there is no depth to the better grade nickel, so limited tonnes. In fact the JORC Table 1 does refer to the mineralisation being thin. This is all a smokescreen. What we are waiting on is the maiden JORC Mineral Resource for San Jorge. That is the result which is going to show if San Jorge has legs or not and we already know from the drill results it is going to be difficult to get a resource much above 1% Ni and that will not be economic. Just get the San Jorge resource done and announced. Then people can make their own assessment as to whether the project will be viable or not. The longer it takes to get the San Jorge resource completed the less cash AVQ will have in the bank and more difficult it gets for them.
