While SYR are likely to be first to market and have an off/take or two in place they also have some 200/300 thousand tonne per year that will need to be sold on the spot market. Syr have the lowest run of mine cost but this is based on selling 100% of product.

This to me is a concern for vanilla markets on start up with to much potential supply but not enough immediate demand.This is why for vanilla markets basket prices need to be more realistic. Walkabout Resource used a basket price at a premium discount to peers and retained an NPV of $323 million dollars.

Others have used stormcrow pricing but lets not over look the the supply and demand equation price taking and spot price.

Walkabout Resources have taken a different path way to others opting to mitigate early market risk and lowering initial funding requirements. It appears due to the high quality of graphite they also have dual market opportunity. The numbers for demand of vanilla do attract start up concern where price takers have control over pricing. There appears to be a shortage of material for expandable markets.

(Premium prices are expected for expandable markets)

Our advantage is both vanilla and expandable markets where Walkabout Resource have worked hard to mitigate start up risk...

just wish the SP would deliver, its now almost 50% down from highs over the past 2 months

no news is a killer in this game
