Oracle’s NetSuite is launching more data centres, field offices, development centres and more international resources. NetSuite has announced global expansion plans at their annual SuiteWorld event in Las Vegas.
In the Asia-Pacific region, NetSuite plans to launch data centre facilities in Australia and Singapore, followed by Japan and China.
Overall, the expansion will see NetSuite more than double its data centre numbers (from 5 to 11) globally. NetSuite currently operates three data centres in North America, one in Amsterdam and another in Dublin. The company’s plans include adding a fourth North American data centre in Chicago and a third European data centre scheduled to open shortly in Frankfurt.
To support the massive infrastructure expansion, NetSuite also plans to more than double its number of existing field offices around the globe, with new offices opening in New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, France, Mexico, Germany, Sweden, Dubai, China, India and Malaysia.
According to NetSuite, headcount in existing offices will increase by more than 50 per cent.
Executive Vice President of Oracle NetSuite business commented, “Leveraging Oracle’s global scale, we are able to massively accelerate NetSuite’s vision of bringing a single unified suite to companies all over the world.”
Oracle entered into an acquisition agreement with NetSuite in July 2016 in a move designed to further strengthen the tech giant’s global cloud capabilities.
NetSuite’s continued expansion seems a reflection of their scalable approach to their ERP software suite. The team at JCurve Solutions are proud to continue implementing and supporting a global platform that empowers businesses of all sizes
