I should have said "the board AND majority of shareholders" felt Cottee was the better man for the job.
How did it turn out? We got a company that not only survived through a nasty oil price slump but transitioned to a gas strategy with income and cash flow! We probably should be flattered it made us a takeover target?
Fair to say everyone is waiting for the "independent" report due on 5th so would not be surprised to see some kind of action the following week after ducks have been lined up.
