You know, it's not a very big change in strategy just a delay in the sale of the bulk ruby.
What has transpired is deceipt and some form of fabrication about the special stones.
Surely they could have sold a few special stones to jewellers/wholesalers as a one off to bank some revenue and then announce going forward all ruby will be sold rough. I'm sure their customers would have been ok with this.
The silent treatment has backfired badly & CJ had a chance to disclose more today but did not.
