The second paragraph is consistent with everything they have done. Is it not the "The cutting, polishing and certification process now underway will provide us with more key information" that has helped them "define the future marketing strategy of the company"?
I personally see it the same if not far worse if they flogged the specials for announcement sakes rather than seeking to use key information learned to pursue an option that would create most value for its shareholders?
