I love watching the pro's in action, teaches me a hell of a lot and is pretty cool to see it all unfold.

Retailers should be looking at liquidity first and formost, depth imo should be used as an indicator only. In the world of spec stocks/pennys, games are played at a very fast rate. Quick exits, consolidation, shorters, smart money, market manipulators and more all prop buy and sell sides to get the entry or exit they're after.

Depth should only be used in conjunction with other indicators as those who play with depth will empty their pockets!

The other thing people get smashed on is getting caught up in the news and not identifying those offloading once a stock comes out of pre-market. As I mentioned a while ago (which seems to pop up everywhere now), pro's buy on rumour, and sell the on news. As the rumour mill flys of looming news, SP increases (pros are already in talking it up) and news hits and bang..... stock flys, dies and people stand around shaking their head.

Such a great game, pays to paper trade for as long as possible!
