The company acknowledges that its facing immediate liquidity problems. On the same day it prevented unit-holders withdrawing from the fund, it began to liquidate large parts of its RVR holdings. It seems a logical conclusion that Ausbil is selling its holdings to meet its redemption commitments.

The 26 and 28 April Anns would presumably have created additional demand for Ausbil to sell into.
