algae feedstock, page-3

I work out 55,000 kilograms per acre per year equals roughly 350 BOPY/Acre. I'm not a farmer but that doesn't sound alot ??? How's my figures? .. how many acres would one need?

I like the idea of pumping CO2 into huge green houses and having a special algae/ bacteria (whatever) producing fuel oil ... but sounds like we're not at the "huge profits to be had" stage yet.
