If emotions are plaguing your trading (having adverse affects) perhaps try lowering you investment size in each stock to a point where the emotion is minimised/disappears for a while...then after a period of emotionless trading see if you %profit on trading increases decreases...if you are a "better trader" when low emotional involvement (like most people are) then try slowly ratcheting it back up keeping well under that tipping point where it takes over decisions making ...
One of my key problems in the beginning was I was in too much of a hurry to make profit...committing parcels that were way to big and stressing massively on every tick move and letting emotions take over the decision making instead of my objective/logical side. So dropping parcel size helped greatly to train my self to be a objective trader
