For what it's worth I regard this morning's disclosure as highly misleading. But each to their own. I have never previously seen a company report a failure without at the same time presenting mitigating factors to offset the bad news. It would have taken nothing to mention that the Sentry pilot program was still on track - absolutely nothing - and it would have offset the sp slide which anyone with half a brain would know was to follow by just reporting bad news alone.
At the very least IMO it shows IAM's disregard of shareholders whose interests it is obliged to protect.
Anyway, I've walked away from this non-performing company who apparently intend to conduct their business by not informing the market about the identity of their clients - keeping the market and shareholders in the dark just like this morning's announcement exemplifies is not the sort of company I want anything to do with.
If the Sentry is off - and we only have IAM's word that it was their decision to drop the deal - but it takes two to tango, and if as some say they are happy that IAM stood their ground, they are forgetting that the other party also stood their ground and decided it wasn't in their interests to proceed either. Customers are the most important asset of any company, not the product, not the management, but customers - and it is already obvious IAM is struggling in that department.
If Sentry have walked then IAM will at some point be forced to disclose that whether they like it or not.
If by some miracle IAM succeed in their program there's plenty of time to get on board for those with a taste for this kind of speculative company. Revenues are pathetic for a company with IAM's market cap and that won't go unnoticed by more astute investors than those who populate HC threads.
