Could not agree with you more... The ML is not the issue.. The issue is the funding and whether and what terms an equity issue is needed.. That is what the shorts are focussing on and this note isolates that aa the main issue to share price under/out performance.. If Stage 1 can be project financed (and the offtake deal makes that an absolute option) and no equity issue is needed then you will see if not the mother of all short squeezes then at least its child.. On the flip side given the size of shorts and the price an equity issue should be do able at a very small discount to the current price. Either way downside looks minimal.
