BACKGROUND ON THE INVESTOR
The Investor is an Indonesian businessman who is a Permanent Resident of Singapore. His main businesses are Singapore based trading companies.
The Investor is the founder and a director of New Pacific Energy Pte Ltd, which trades in industrial chemicals, animal nutrition and plastic resins. For the past 10 years, New Pacific Energy Pte Ltd has been trading with major petrochemical companies such as Shell Chemicals Pte Ltd, and supplies aluminum sulphate and sulphuric acid manufacturers in Indonesia.
The Investor also owns Visindo Holdings Pte Ltd, which has business interests in trading and supply of steel materials in Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia. Most recently the Investor has ventured into oil and gas together with Euromid Petroleum LLC to form Euromid Petroleum (S) Pte Ltd, of which he is the managing director and a shareholder.
The Investor was introduced to the Company by Altus Asia Group Pte Ltd, a corporate consultancy firm based in Singapore. In consideration of the facilitation services provided by Altus Asia Group Pte Ltd, the Company agreed to pay to Altus Asia Group Pte Ltd a sum equivalent to 3% of the aggregate principal amount of the Bonds subscribed by the Investor.
