My 2c - MVF got crunched mainly on VRTs announcement.
The IVF market cooled by 3% or something, but Mr Market priced in a 10-20% fall in revenue/profit, similar to what VRT sustained... No consideration was given to MVFs position in the market - they are the market leader and will continue to be the leader for the near future.
So in answer to your question, I think the market got it temporarily wrong thinking MVF would be in structural decline for a couple of years - which is not the case.
If we see any turnaround in the IVF market watch MVF soar back to its previous heighs... If we don't see a turnaround, take the 4.3% divvy, not bad for a company that is certainly in a growth phase (albeit stagnant for now). I'm a hold, as I feel $2 is fair value - but I certainly took advantage of the sub $1.80 earlier this year
